Old & UnWise

It is really hard to describe how excited I was yesterday to find out that Old & UnWise had started to appear for pre-order on some websites (see below). I have already had poems published in a couple of anthologies, however the poetry in this book is all mine. It has been extremely difficult to decide which poems to include and which to leave out. To find the right mix. I really want it to reflect me as a person so the range of topics and styles was very important to me.

I am not just about love poems. I am not just about dark poems. I am not just a dreamer, but a thinker too. I have clear beliefs about social justice and worry about the world we are leaving for the next generation. But I love to have fun too. I love to laugh but I am not afraid to cry. I do hope the book will convey all of that and have something for everyone, whatever they may be feeling. These 172 poems spread along 242 pages are what I have to offer.
